Whether worn or referenced, Nike had always been part of dance culture. However, they lacked a platform that truly served the community behind it. The challenge was shifting Nike from a cultural reference point to an entry point for participation.

So rather than celebrating expertise, the work looked at confidence as something that comes before skill: the permission to begin. Elite dancers were cast not as icons, but as beginners, swapping styles on camera and revealing their own first-time vulnerability.

Through live-to-tape exchange sessions, motion-led lookbook carousels, and Nike App deep dives, Nike’s position shifted from cultural reference point to something the community could actively claim as built for them.
